Summary of Complaint: The complaint alleges that Republic Crane Service entered into a collective bargaining agreement with the International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC) in December 2008. Pursuant to the agreement Republic Crane was required to contribute monies to the benefit trusts for each hour worked by IUEC members employed by Republic. According to the complaint, Republic employed certain employees covered by the collective bargaining agreement from January 2009 to June 2009. Republic, however, failed to make payments for the months of May and June. These payments totaled $22,320.25. The IUEC Trust demands these delinquent payments plus $4,464.05 in liquidated damages.
