Summary of Complaint: Cause of action arose when the plaintiff, Ms. Levin, alleged that on October 25, 2005 during Hurricane Wilma a construction crane owned by General Crane and leased to Teitelbaum Concrete Company standing near her hi-rise condominium building blew over and crashed into the condo unit directly above her residence. The plaintiff claims that the crane was “inadequately and negligently secured,” and resulted in extensive water damage to her condo unit. A settlement was reached in September 2008.
