Summary of Complaint: Cause of action arose when the plaintiffs, David and Helen Spitzberg, alleged that on October 24, 2005 a construction crane owned by General Crane situated next to the Plaintiffs’ hi-rise condominium unit collapsed into their bedroom causing damage to the Plaintiffs’ dwelling as well as physical and mental injuries to the Plaintiffs themselves.  A settlement was reached between the parties in March 2009.
